Athletics
Athletics has always played an important role in the Coláiste Éinde sporting calendar. Both boys and girls teams have consistently performed at the top of Connacht school’s and National athletics.

Basketball
Coláiste Éinde is one of the leading schools in the province in basketball. We have won several regional and All-Ireland titles at different levels in both boys and girls basketball. Involvement and interest in basketball in the school has been stronger than ever in recent years.

Gaelic Football
Coláiste Éinde has a proud history of accomplishment on the Gaelic football field in both boys and girls competitions. The school offers those interested in Gaelic Football the opportunity to hone their skills and understanding of the game, through experienced and dedicated coaching.

Hurling and Camogie
There has always been a keen interest in Hurling and Camogie in Coláiste Éinde. Training sessions are well attended and the whir of a passing sliotar is a familiar sound during lunch break. Numerous students from the school have gone on to represent Galway at all levels.

Rugby
Rugby is growing in popularity every year in Coláiste Éinde and provides an excellent formation for young players in terms of discipline and teamwork. The support of parents and the Connacht branch is greatly appreciated for their assistance in the development of our students’ sporting ability.

Soccer
Coláiste Éinde compete in both the boys and girls Connacht Schools competition. Over the years, Coláiste Éinde has produced some very strong players that have gone on to play for the Senior Connacht schools team. Past pupil Daryl Horgan is currently an Irish International player.

Golf
Students with an interest in golf have the opportunity to play in the annual Connacht Schools Senior competition. This competition is an excellent introduction to the world of competitive golf for any young player.

Volleyball
Volleyball in Coláiste Éinde began during the 2019-2020 school year with both boys and girls. As a result of the growth of the club, players are divided into both Junior and Senior teams.
