Admission to 1st Year 2027/2028

Applications for enrolment to First Year 2027/2028 will be accepted from 9am on Thursday 1st October 2026.
Applications will be processed in line with Department of Education guidelines and the school’s Admissions Policy.

In line with Department of Education and Youth requirements, we cannot accept applications for admission to 1st Year before this date.

Open Evening 2026

Our Open Evening for prospective 1st-year students 2027/28 will be held on Thursday 1st October 2026. Students who are in Sixth Class are invited to visit the school to learn more about what is on offer. Registration is essential for those who wish to attend the Open Evening, but attendance does not influence the offer of a place in First Year. You can register from Thursday 17th September, using the link which will be posted here, and will appear in local newspapers. Full details on admission are available in our Admissions Policy, below.

Students who are offered and accept a place in First-Year will have an opportunity later in the year to visit the school (usually late April/May, date TBC).

Board of Management Review Form (BOMR1)

If you wish to request a review by the Board of Management of a decision to refuse admission to the school, then you must complete this form.

Completed forms must be submitted to the Board of Management within 21 calendar days from the date of the decision to refuse admission to the school, clearly outlining your grounds for requesting the review. This request must be based on the implementation of the school’s admission policy and the content of the school’s annual admission notice.
